Soot after a fire

Soot after a fire can cause damage in areas of your home where the fire never even touched. In this situation there was a kitchen fire and as you can see the soot came out of the kitchen and into the living room/hallway. Part of what SERVPRO does to make it "like it never even happened" is to clean the soot from the walls so that the painters can repaint the walls of your home. SERVPRO cleaned the walls, carpets, stair railings, lamps, pictures, furniture and more to make sure that the soot was properly removed. This is a part of the process of getting the homeowners back in their home.
